Once we had our baby girl, and we had made the decision to stay home, I started "experimenting" with quilting. I had made a few growing up, as my mother had taught me, and her mother taught her. I immediately fell in love and dreamed of creating a job out of this crazy passion and I never looked back. I joked to my friends that I wanted to create a modern quilting empire, and well, that's exactly what I plan on doing!

I would love for you to join me on this journey of empire building!

My dream is to create a business that is able to pass on this value of celebrating and loving people in such a tangible way. And that in small way, together we could pass love along to make the darkness of this world a little less dark. Lets be the light, be the change, and pass the love along

About Meesh

Welcome! Thanks so much for exploring more of Meesh Quilts. My name is Michelle (some call me Meesh) and I am the creator and maker behind Meesh Quilts! I am a wife, mother of one sweet baby girl and a german shepherd, and a follower of Jesus.

I was probably the last person you would expect to ever catch this "quilting bug" as I was playing all the sports from 5 years old through college. Which is where the nickname "meesh" came from.

When I graduated high school I received a handmade quilt, and then again when I got married and again when we welcomed our baby girl into the world. I didn't give much thought into making quilts when I received them, but I remember feeling insanely loved, cared for, and celebrated knowing that someone had spent their valuable time and effort to create such a thoughtful gift that our family would cherish forever.

Things I love:

I could eat sushi for every meal for the rest of my life!

I am a 9 on the enneagram.

I love a good night in watching Netflix with my husband.

I graduated from Georgia College with a degree in Psychology (and still have a hard time spelling it)
